Sample of Chanel Gardénia Eau de Parfum for women Sample of store filling from the original bottle of the perfume Sycomore perfume from the Les Exclusifs collection by Chanel, released in 2008 as an improved new version of the old perfume. In 1930, Miss Chanel's pioneers dreamed of creating a distinctive perfume carrying the scent of woody notes far into other worlds, and the result was Sycomore perfume. A noble and strong dry perfume, symbolizing her legendary struggle as a lady in a male-dominated world, and in any case, the perfume expresses Chanel's bold and meticulous style in the world of elegance. The luxurious aromatic vetiver, skillfully launched with spices, and it charms with its aristocratic simplicity, leaving a long warm breeze in its wake. It was the legendary perfumer Ernst Beaux who was behind the old version of the perfume. Regarding the new version: two perfumers collaborated under the umbrella of this perfume, Jacques Polge, the designer of most Chanel perfumes, and Christopher Sheldrake, the perfumer of Serge Lutens. The two men wanted to present a perfume duet with contrasting characteristics, as unique things are usually born from contradictions. The first possesses the spirit of elegance, optimism, and ambition, which is the signature of Chanel in most of its perfumes. The second dives into mystery, fantasy, and complexity in translating Serge Lutens' perfumes. So, we are on a date between the gathering of opposites, or rather two schools: realism and creativity. The perfume belongs to the chypre woody family, known for its strong and intense scents. A very masculine and elegant perfume, mysterious and smoky, very suitable for winter. It is classified as unisex, but I do not see it suitable for women, although some foreign experts recommend it for women.
