Product description

The Bird of Paradise plant has a special beauty, as its orange flowers have a hint of redness and the blue color enters between these colors with an upward height, making this plant unique to show the Creator's creativity. It is considered the queen of indoor plants among plant lovers. Its leaves are shiny and resemble banana leaves to the extent that some confuse them with bananas. Its scientific name is Strelitzia reginae, and the common name is Bird of Paradise. It is from South African plants. There are natural cracks in its leaves that allow air to pass through so that the wind does not uproot it in its natural environment. It grows to reach one meter or one and a half meters in height, and its width is about half a meter to a meter. It needs bright light inside the house near large windows to provide natural lighting, without direct sunlight. It is only watered after the soil is partially dry and when the surface of the soil is dry, without overwatering. It does not like water with impurities and salts, as this causes yellowing of the leaves, so it is preferable to water it with filtered water or tap water left uncovered for a day to allow chlorine and fluoride to evaporate. Its lower leaves may turn yellow, and this is due to excessive watering. Conversely, insufficient watering causes it to wilt and the leaves to curl. It needs a moderate environment and is suitable for normal room temperature, tolerating warm weather up to 30 degrees Celsius.
