Detrusitol 2 mg 28 tablets Active ingredient Toltierodine 2 mg Detrusitol medication is used to control bedwetting to treat symptoms of overactive bladder syndrome. It contains Toltierodine, which belongs to the group of anticholinergic drugs. Indications for use of Detrusitol: - Treatment of increased urination frequency - Bedwetting in adults - Urinary tract diseases - Urinary incontinence - Urgency sensation of the need to urinate Dosage of Detrusitol tablets: - The dose should be determined by the doctor who adjusts it according to age and medical condition - The usual dose for adults: take 2 mg, equivalent to one tablet, twice daily or one capsule with a 4 mg extended-release capsule - Do not use Detrusitol medication on your own; consult a doctor - In case of missed dose, take it as soon as remembered unless the time for the next dose is near - Do not double the dose to compensate for a missed one Warnings and precautions while using Detrusitol 2 mg: - Talk to your doctor before starting this medication if you suffer from decreased bowel movements or severe constipation - Consult your doctor before starting this medication if you have an abnormal decrease in potassium, magnesium, or calcium levels in the blood - Stop taking the medication immediately and talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you experience allergic reactions such as shortness of breath, rash, facial or neck swelling, low blood pressure, or dizziness - Make sure to inform your doctor of all your medical problems before receiving this medication, including if you have neurological issues affecting bowel function, sexual function, blood pressure, or difficulty urinating and/or weak urine flow, gastrointestinal diseases affecting digestion and food passage, kidney or liver problems, or if you have a hiatal hernia (hernia in one of the abdominal organs) How to store Detrusitol 2 mg: - Store at a temperature below 25°C - Do not refrigerate the medication - Keep this medication out of sight and reach of children
