Bepanovit Cream 30, Betamethasone Valerate 0.1% Cream (Tube 30 g) Betamethasone Valerate belongs to a class of medications known as "topical corticosteroids" that work to reduce inflammation, itching, and redness of the skin. It is used to treat certain skin problems, such as eczema (a common skin disorder that causes itching and redness) and some types of dermatitis. It is available in the form of a ointment and cream applied to the skin. How to use Betamethasone Valerate: Adults: Apply a thin layer of the cream/ointment and gently massage it into the affected area as directed by your doctor. Children: This medication is not recommended for children unless prescribed by your doctor. If your doctor advises so, close monitoring of the child is necessary to check for any unwanted side effects. Usage instructions: Wash and dry your hands before and after applying the cream/ointment (do not wash your hands after use if applying to your hands). Make sure to replace the cap on the tube after use to prevent leakage. Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions carefully. Keep the cream/ointment away from your eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse your eyes thoroughly with running water for at least 10 minutes. Do not apply the cream/ointment under a bandage or plaster to prevent excessive absorption of the medication and subsequent unwanted side effects. Do not use this cream/ointment on your face unless directed by your doctor. If your skin condition does not improve after a week, contact your doctor immediately. Do not use this cream/ointment on skin wounds, large areas of skin, or skin folds (such as behind the knees) unless instructed by your doctor. Avoid using this medication before bathing or swimming so as not to affect its effectiveness. Using less than the recommended amount of this medication may result in no improvement of your skin. Your doctor will determine how long you should use this product and may also adjust the frequency based on your response. This medication is associated with more side effects if used for longer periods. Do not change how you use this medication without consulting your doctor first. How to store Betamethasone Valerate: Keep the medication out of reach of children and pets (for example, in a locked cabinet at a height of one and a half meters above the ground). Store the medication in a dry place below 25°C. Do not use the medication after the expiration date printed on the cream/ointment. Do not dispose of the medication in wastewater or household waste; ask your pharmacist how to dispose of unused medicines. Do not leave the medication on windowsills or in the car. Keep the medication in its original packaging to protect it from moisture and light.
