Avacin Vaginal Cream, Avacin Vaginal Cream 2%, unique formulation of Clindamycin phosphate. Indicated for the treatment of bacterial vaginitis symptoms in non-pregnant women. Common pathogens associated with vulvovaginal inflammation such as Candida albicans, Trichomonas, Neisseria, Gonorrhea, and Herpes simplex should be excluded using appropriate methods. AVOCIN VAGINAL CREAM is supplied in a 40g tube and plastic applicators to facilitate proper use and access of the medication to the affected area. Usage instructions: Wash your hands with soap and water. Open the tube. Attach the applicator tip to the tube until secure but not overly tight. Gently press the bottom of the tube to push enough cream into the applicator barrel. Ensure it is sufficient to reach the prescribed dose. Most applicators have markings indicating where to stop. Unscrew the cap from the tube. Lie on your back with your knees bent towards you. Gently insert the applicator into the vagina. Press the plunger down until it returns to its original position. Wash your hands with soap and water after applying the cream. Note: If you are pregnant, gently insert the applicator and do not push it beyond the point where you feel resistance.
