Blopress 16 mg tablets used Candisartan Cilexetil for treatment: high blood pressure. Heparin (to prevent blood clots). Water pills (diuretics). Lithium (for mental health issues). How to take Candisartan Cilexetil: take this medication as prescribed by your doctor. Take this medication at the same time each day. Take this medication with or without food. The usual dose ranges from 4-8 mg per day. Your doctor may increase the dose up to 32 mg if necessary. In children, the usual dose ranges from 4-8 mg per day. Your doctor may increase the dose up to 16 mg if necessary. Storage of Candisartan Cilexetil: store at room temperature below 86°F (30°C).
