Hymox Fort 250 ml suspension

Hymox Forte 250 mg syrup is an antibiotic containing the active ingredient Amoxicillin, and is used to treat infections of the throat, ear, nose, lungs, urinary system, and skin. It is sometimes used to prevent bacterial endocarditis and to treat Helicobacter pylori with other medications. Active ingredient (Hymox Forte 250 mg): Amoxicillin Indications for use: Upper respiratory tract infections: sore throat, acute laryngitis, neck infection, acute otitis media, sinusitis. Lower respiratory tract infections: pneumonia, bronchitis. Urinary and reproductive system: urinary tract infections. Skin: various skin infections. Others: prevention of bacterial endocarditis, actinomycosis, anthrax, and treatment of Helicobacter pylori with other medications. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to amoxicillin or any component of the medication. Hypersensitivity to any medication from the penicillin or cephalosporin family. Possible side effects: Diarrhea, nausea, skin rash, stomach disturbances such as pain or bloating. Headache, change in stool color, blood in urine, chest pain with difficulty breathing. Joint and muscle pains. Precautions: During breastfeeding, asthma, liver or kidney diseases. Monitoring diarrhea caused by antibiotics. Adhere to the prescribed dose to avoid bacterial resistance. Can be taken with food to reduce stomach upset. Use during pregnancy is safe according to available studies. Drug interactions: Do not use with: Probenecid, chloramphenicol, tetracycline, allopurinol, methotrexate, phenfluramine, warfarin, allopurinol, or contraceptive pills. Notify the doctor of all medications and supplements before use. Doses and method of use: Oral suspension: 125 mg/5 ml or 250 mg/5 ml depending on the child's weight or as advised by the doctor. Take with or without food, preferably with food if it causes stomach upset. Maintain equal time intervals between doses. Storage conditions: Keep the medication in tightly closed containers away from light, heat, and humidity. Important notes: The medication may reduce the effectiveness of contraceptive pills, so it is preferable to use non-hormonal contraceptive methods such as a condom.
