Histofen 100ml syrup Active ingredient: cetirizine Indications: Medical uses of Histofen syrup Used to treat symptoms of allergy conditions including rhinitis and other allergies. How to use Histofen syrup Always take this medication exactly as your doctor or pharmacist told you. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Shake well before use. Average doses: Adults: 5 ml twice daily Children over 3 years: 5 ml twice daily Children between 6 months and 3 years: 2.5 ml twice daily If you have a tendency to drowsiness, start with 2.5 ml twice daily. You can increase the dose up to 10 ml daily if necessary. Doses may be changed in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions. If you take more than you should, talk to your doctor or go to the hospital immediately. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is time for the next dose. Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the missed dose.
