Dermocort Cream, effective for skin allergies, Dermovate cream, helps reduce itching and redness of your skin, as in cases of: eczema, psoriasis (thick patches of red inflamed skin, often covered with silver scales), dermatitis, and other skin diseases. How to use Dermovate cream: Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist told you. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Doses may vary from patient to patient depending on your age, medical condition, and whether you are taking other medicines. Apply a thin layer of the cream / ointment and gently massage it into the affected area as directed by the doctor. This medicine is not recommended for use in children unless your doctor advises otherwise. Wash and dry your hands before and after using the cream / ointment (do not wash your hands after use if it is for treating your hand skin). Make sure to keep the cream / ointment away from your eyes. Do not use this cream / ointment on your face unless your doctor directs you. Do not use this cream / ointment on the genital areas unless your doctor directs you. Continue using your medication as long as your doctor told you. Make sure to close the cap on the tube after use to prevent leakage or contamination of the medicine. Doses may change in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions. If you take more than you should, talk to your doctor or go to the hospital immediately. Side effects of Dermovate cream: Although the following side effects are not common for everyone, some patients may experience: Itching, dry skin, redness of the skin. Using Dermovate cream during pregnancy and breastfeeding: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you might be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Your doctor will discuss the potential risks and benefits of using this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding. How to store Dermovate cream: Store at a temperature below 25°C. Do not refrigerate the medicine. Keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.
