One-to-One Art & Illustration Mentorship
A live, personalized program designed around your current skill level, creative taste, and artistic goals.
We begin by reviewing your existing work and identifying what may be holding you back. From there, I create a focused learning plan that combines guidance, practical exercises, and personal feedback.
Each month is built around a specific outcome, helping you move forward with clarity instead of jumping between scattered tutorials and information.
Meet Your Mentor
I’m Kawther Alzwaied, an illustrator and graphic designer with over 15 years of experience in traditional and digital illustration, branding, packaging, print, and product design.
I studied digital art and animation in Tokyo, taught digital painting, and delivered practical drawing workshops for beginners. I have also worked on commercial projects and developed physical products that began as illustrations and evolved into stationery, packaging, and sellable products.
During the mentorship, I share the thinking and creative process I use in my own work—from observing and developing an idea to preparing and presenting the final artwork professionally.
Choose Your Track
01 — Drawing Foundations
For complete beginners, or anyone who has been drawing for some time but feels their foundations are still inconsistent.
We will work on:
- Training your eye and hand through observation.
- Line confidence and pencil control.
- Simplifying objects into clear, basic shapes.
- Proportion, volume, and simplified perspective.
- Light, shadow, and basic color principles.
- Composition and arranging elements within a scene.
- Building a realistic drawing routine that fits your life.
- Completing a final sketchbook page or illustration that brings your new skills together.
No previous drawing experience is required.
02 — iPad Illustration & Procreate
For anyone who owns an iPad and Procreate but does not know where to begin, or currently uses the app without a clear and efficient workflow.
We will work on:
- Understanding the Procreate interface and essential tools.
- Brushes, layers, masks, and selections.
- Setting up the correct canvas size and resolution.
- Moving from reference to sketch and final illustration.
- Creating balanced color palettes.
- Adding light, shadow, and texture.
- Organizing and protecting your working files.
- Exporting artwork correctly for print and digital use.
- Completing one polished digital illustration.
Required tools: an iPad, Apple Pencil, and the Procreate app.
03 — Illustration & Creative Style
For artists who understand the basics but feel their work is visually inconsistent, or rely too heavily on references without knowing how to develop a visual language of their own.
We will work on:
- Reviewing your current portfolio and identifying your strengths.
- Understanding your visual taste and creative influences.
- Using references thoughtfully without copying.
- Exploring line, shape, color, and texture.
- Composition and visual storytelling.
- Recognizing the recurring choices that form your artistic identity.
- Creating a mini visual style guide.
- Developing a small, visually connected series of illustrations.
The goal is not to force your work into one fixed style. It is to help you make more intentional, confident, and consistent creative decisions.
04 — Commercial Illustration & Product Design
For illustrators and designers who want to transform their artwork into a product, portfolio piece, or commercially usable design.
We will work on:
- Understanding a creative brief and translating it into a visual concept.
- Research and moodboard development.
- Developing an idea from early sketches to final execution.
- Building an illustration system that can be applied across multiple elements.
- Applying artwork to packaging, cards, stickers, bags, stationery, or other products.
- Understanding dimensions, resolution, color modes, bleed, and print preparation.
- Creating professional mockups and presentation layouts.
- Presenting the project as a portfolio case study.
- The basics of pricing and delivering commercial illustration work.
The track concludes with one training project that is ready to be presented in your portfolio.
What Does the Monthly Mentorship Include?

- A practical exercise after every session.
- One structured assignment review between sessions.
- Selected references and learning resources suited to your level.
- A final progress review and recommendations for your next step.
- A private communication channel for questions related to your current assignment.
Support between sessions is limited to the agreed exercises and related questions. It does not include daily access or unlimited artwork reviews.
Can I Master Drawing in One Month?
Each month focuses on one clear stage and a measurable outcome.
Building strong skills and developing an artistic style requires consistent practice, so some tracks may be extended to two or three months depending on your starting point and goals.
What If I’m Unsure Which Track to Choose?
Select “I Need a Track Recommendation” when registering and attach a few examples of your work along with a short description of your goal.
I will recommend the most suitable track before your sessions begin.
Before You Register
You will need to dedicate approximately two to four hours each week to practice outside the live sessions.
Completing the exercises allows me to observe your progress, understand where you need support, and adjust your learning plan accordingly.
You may use a personal idea or a training brief during the Commercial Illustration track. The execution of a complete client project or full brand identity is not included and would be quoted as a separate professional service.
Begin Where You Are
Choose the track that feels closest to your current goal, and we will build the rest of your creative path together ،one thoughtful step at a time.
