Chess

Chess is a strategic game played by two players on a square board consisting of 64 squares (8x8), and each player has 16 pieces (king, queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights, and 8 pawns). The goal is to checkmate the opponent's king, that is, to put it in a position of "checkmate" from which it cannot escape by any legal move. Each piece moves in a specific way, and players take turns moving their pieces with the aim of attacking and defending.
