Its metallic copper appearance and silky surface finish make it ideal for decorative objects, sculptures, display models and creative prints without requiring additional polishing.

💡 Recommendations and Usage Conditions
🔹 Reduce outer-wall printing speed for better silk gloss and a more consistent surface appearance.
🔹 Enable Z-seam and layer starting-point alignment, and optimize travel paths to minimize surface marks.
🔹 Use adequate cooling for overhangs and bridges, and reduce speed when needed.
🔹 Keep the printer enclosure open when printing PLA-Silk in hot environments to reduce heat buildup near the feeding system.
🔹 Preparatory drying: 50°C for more than 8 hours, as specified in the official TDS.
🔹 Store filament in tightly sealed packaging in a cool, dry place, away from heat and moisture.
