Barista Space Coffee Tamper Base:

The Barista Space Coffee Tamper Base is an option for those who want all components in one organized package. The ergonomic base of the coffee tamper improves tamping pressure to provide optimum coffee extraction. It keeps the portafilter to remain under pressure and also ensures that the spout does not touch the countertop. As a result, leftover coffee beans will not accidentally get into the cup.

The stand is especially useful when using a single spout on a portafilter or when using a bottomless portafilter. The holder consists of a heavyweight stainless steel construction with a large rubber ring on the bottom, designed to cover the portafilter. The portafilter bayonets rest on the rim while the cutter grips the neck handle easily. These types of tamping rigs are still few and far between, but this one is very affordable.
