This coffee comes from a small mill in the Pegasing district of Takengon, in the coffee-famous Aceh region of Sumatra. The factory serves many small coffee producers in Bantan Musara villages. Displaced from their homes and lands by a natural disaster several years ago, these producers rebuilt their lives and farms with a new focus on coffee. Unlike the vast majority of other Sumatran coffee receiving and processing centers, this mill produces washed coffee, as well as natural coffee.
