Norma Iris Villalos owns the San Rafael farm located in Copán. Norma is one of the most innovative producers in the region, with a wide range of different strains, including bourbon and cutaway strains.

The farm is located within a pine forest, which greatly increases the acidity of the soil, giving the coffee a very unique appearance. The coffee is grown entirely in the shade and the production area is part of the total land.

This year the harvest was difficult for all producers with increased rainfall during the harvest and a shortage of coffee pickers, resulting in a significant amount of coffee being lost either from falling to the ground or swelling and splitting on the tree.
