Sebahibarine Alantoin Gel mg / 50 IU / 10 mg / g20 What is Sebahibarine Alantoin Gel and what are its indications: • Sebahibarine Alantoin Gel is used to treat different types of scars after wound healing. • It prevents scar tissue growth and reduces scars. The gel also decreases redness, swelling, and pain (anti-inflammatory). • Suitable for use in patients with thick scars above the skin surface and sometimes of a different color than the surrounding skin, and for movement inhibitors, and cosmetically deformed scars resulting from surgery, amputation, burns, or accidents. Suitable for contractions, such as Dupuytren's contracture (constant finger bending) and traumatic tendon contractions, as well as atrophic scars (depressed or raised scars from the skin surface). What you need to know before using Sebahibarine Alantoin Gel: Do not use Sebahibarine Alantoin if you are allergic to onion extract, sodium heparin, alantoin, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (paraben), sorbic acid, or other components of this gel. Precautions and warnings: • Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using the gel. • ContreX Gel contains parabens (methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate) which can cause delayed allergic reactions. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. • Apply the gel to the skin several times a day and gently massage into the scar tissue until the gel is fully absorbed. • For old, hard scars, the gel can also be applied overnight and covered with a dressing. • Treatment may last several weeks or months, depending on the size or contraction of the scar. • For fresh wounds, avoid physical irritants such as extreme cold, ultraviolet rays, or vigorous massage. • Used in children • When used in children aged 1 year or older, it is recommended to apply the gel to the scar tissue once or twice daily. • This medication is not recommended for children under one year old. • If you have any other questions about using this medication, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
