Product description

Narratives are a branch of knowledge, analyzing the components and mechanisms of the story, and every story has a subject, which is the tale that is conveyed to the receiver through a narrative act, which is the narration. The story and the narration are two essential components for a story; the story is a written discourse that presents a tale, and the narration is the act that produces this discourse. The narrative process can disappear to the maximum extent possible in favor of the story, and here the receiver forgets the existence of the narrator, feeling as if they are facing a transparent narration, directly conveyed, finding themselves within the evoked events, as if they are real events happening in front of them. In contrast to this transparent narration, there is another type of narration, which is dense narration, where the narrator explicitly refers to himself as the narrator, declaring himself as the producer and creator of the story. In this case, the receiver faces a break in ambiguity with reality, and cannot live the story naively by surrendering to the narrated events. This tendency of work required that its starting point be from within the novel text by dismantling its structure and interrogating it, focusing on the narrative act from which the narrator derives his name and primary function. This does not mean that this work is an abstract approach limited to the components and mechanisms of narration, because it redefines the story within the novel text as the womb in which it was formed, emerging from its geographical place, which is the society through its most prominent historical stages. Thus, the deep meaning of the novel text, its overall significance, and its aesthetic dimensions are uncovered, making it more accessible for reader circulation. Number of pages: 159
