Product description

The researcher mastered the art of research and scrutiny in the folds of the forgotten paper for decades, to reveal information that may be interpreted incorrectly far from correctness. Therefore, he presented his book (Wine in History and Religions) to open wide horizons of knowledge for the reader, and to give him confidence in opinion due to the ease of handling documented information from multiple sources. All heavenly religions forbade and prohibited alcohol, and classified it among immoral acts. The drinker of wine is cursed in this world and the hereafter, in addition to its prohibition economically, socially, and health-wise. The researcher cited verses revealed in the Holy Quran, in the Gospel of Mercy, and what is mentioned in the Torah of Guidance. The noble prophetic hadiths also forbade sitting with addicts, and imposed strict punishment on anyone who drinks alcohol and all intoxicants. Man elevates with his mind, knows God with his mind, and alcohol causes him to lose his mind, fall into the abyss, be humiliated, his dignity trampled, and he departs from his human nature. But the researcher did not forget to mention some spiritual symbolism in the divine (heavenly) wine and those mentioned during the time of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him). This symbolism means that Christ is the new wine, and more precisely, he is the divine glad tidings that God announced to all people in his time. The book is a comprehensive, documented informational encyclopedia about wine, its types, names, humanity, all from divine legislative sources and various linguistic dictionaries, and from Islamic jurisprudence. Number of pages: 174.
