Product description

In this book I continue the search for moral consciousness and communicative action. The background of the discussion is primarily objections to the concepts of comprehensive ethics, which trace back to Aristotle and Hegel and contemporary contextualism, along with the sterile contradiction between abstract comprehensiveness and contradictory relativism. Although I try to defend the priority of moral understanding obligatory on goodness, this does not mean that narrow moral questions should be excluded from rational discussion.
