Product description
After the experience of my previous book "Defending Madness" it occurred to me to repeat the effort. And the matter, in short, is that I select from the things I have previously published in periodicals or book introductions what I see is past its time. And this book is not a continuation of the previous book, but it is a weaving on its pattern. It contains my opinions on art, culture, journalism, women (and some politics). And the question I faced in my first book faces me now: what unites these articles? And the answer, as naively as I answered before: what unites these articles is that I wrote them. So the opinions here are my opinions, which may mean something to some, and may mean nothing to others. But what mattered to me, I, was to say these opinions, and to record them, including farewell to personalities like Assi Al-Rihani and the Al-Rihani phenomenon, as well as farewell to a number of friends who have passed away, and who have passed through my life in a not passing manner. And perhaps some bitterness still remains here as well. When reviewing the articles, I discovered that I insist once again on the losses that have befallen our lives. And they are greater losses than military or political defeats. It is our ongoing human bleeding. And it is what keeps us alive… or drives us crazy.
