Product description
To my mother, and my sisters, and my companions, this is not a good way, nor do I recommend it to anyone, but there is no other way. With these words, the Russian poet Vladimir Mayakovsky wrote his last words to this world, and perhaps they are among the most sincere messages written by a human on Earth, for the suicidal person knows that this way will not solve his problems, but despite all that, he pushed himself to it and threw himself into the depths of suicide. Perhaps one of the factors of the "attractiveness" of suicidal messages is that we find ourselves at some moment sharing the same feelings with the suicides, and this becomes clear when we read their messages. Who among us denies that Van Gogh's last message: "Sadness will last forever" touched him from within every time he read it? And who among us, every time he reads Dalida's message: "Forgive me. Life is no longer bearable," is not overwhelmed with a painful thought that pushes him to repeat the same phrase: "Truly, life is no longer bearable." In this book, we read together eight suicidal messages, wandering through the lives of the individuals and their messages, not just for literary exploration, but to learn from mistakes, to take lessons from their experiences, and to benefit from the messages written by the departed before their unfortunate decision to leave life.
