Product description
Psychoanalysis is a huge collection of principles and teachings, and examining it carefully is a task worthy of investigation, and this is what justified my writing this book. Perhaps it is better to clarify to the reader and critic that the appreciation of the importance of the structure built by Freud is mostly concentrated in the last part of the book, especially in its final chapter. As for my personal opinions about those long repeated exciting hours I spent studying what Freud wrote, and what was written about him, they are of mixed characteristics. Much of what I read was trivial waste, and a few were precious gems. Nevertheless, my belief in their importance, if purified from impurities, remains unchanged and unwavering. Sigmund Freud, the father of psychoanalysis, is truly one of the great men of his era. This book explains to the ordinary reader Freud’s basic theories and how to apply them in our daily lives.
