Product description
The Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani, who died in the year 561 AH, said about this diwan: "His words are sweet, affect the souls, and make them melt with passion, tenderness, and sweetness. It is the remembrance that will remain of him, and his mention will be eternal until the Day of Resurrection." This diwan includes a collection of Persian poetry composed by Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani, through which he expressed his spiritual experience, explained his state in divine love, and discussed some of the Sufi stations and states, as well as some ideas and mystical concepts with explanation and interpretation. This diwan holds great importance because it allows one to understand: the features of Sheikh's spiritual experience, the foundations of his Sufi doctrine, and the characteristics of his Persian poetic style. This book contains the first Arabic translation of the diwan's poems, and the first Arabic study related to it. It is considered a significant new addition to the Qadiri library in particular, and the Sufi library in general. Number of pages: 239
