Grammatical theory

The book "Theory of Generative Grammar" by Jeffrey Poul, Arab Organization for Translation. This book outlines the main lines for studying syntax of language, within a theoretical framework on which the Generative Grammar school was founded, which is one of the most important modern linguistic schools. The author wanted to present, in a clear classification and with accuracy, the issues of grammar: its foundations, methods, tools, and distant goals, as one of the methods of logical and critical thinking, and one of the fields of linguistic creativity and development. Perhaps one of the most prominent features of this book is that, while presenting hypotheses of grammar and examining them from many angles, it also emphasizes that there is no final hypothesis that cannot be changed, and this makes it, despite the specialization of its subject and language, a book that encourages thinking and research.
