Time picture cinema

This book in its two parts contains a long philosophical study about cinema, it is not a history of cinema but a classification of images and signals and an attempt to categorize them. The book in its first part dealt with the issue of image/movement, and in its second part, image/time, and critics of the seventh art considered it one of the most important writings about cinema so far. It is not "an attempt to write a history of cinema" as much as it is an analysis of the relationship between cinema and movement and time, and these are the two concepts that philosopher Henri Bergson focused on, who received great favor from the author's research, as he applied them to cinema, as opposition between movement as a physical reality in the external world and the image as a psychological reality in consciousness can no longer exist.
