Me and the books

This is a biography of a friendship with books. It begins with the breaking of the letter in Palestine and passes through studying in Britain and America to continue when its owner settles in Beirut. And the reader is a university professor with a passion for history. This book, in its major part, contains what can be called "The Young Arab's Intelligent Guide to His Intellectual and Scientific Heritage," which are readings with passion, mischief, insight, and critique of the most prominent Arab thinkers and scientists, rarely gathered in this way of distillation and clarity.
