Camus Seyran's email had presented to the French publishing house Gallimard in 1947 the manuscript of his book "Letter on Dissolution," so the publisher accepted to publish it but he retrieved the manuscript and reworked on it and did not publish it until after two years. Seyran's first book was met with critical acclaim but the distribution was very limited, and that remained the case for his books for 30 years, perhaps because he was the opposite of Sartre, the dominant figure at that time. The book "Letter on Dissolution" was published with a beautiful translation by Adam Fathi by Jamal Publications as part of distinguished intellectual books that include Seyran's other writings. About the book, and what came in the book, we read: There is no idea except that it is inherently hostile or should be. However, man breathes life into it and injects his whims and impurities into it, so it becomes, having been tainted and transformed into an ideology, permeates through time and takes the form of an event: the transition from logic to madness is complete. Thus, ideologies, doctrines, and bloody massacres are born. As for the fanatic, he is impervious to corruption: if he can kill for an idea, he can also expose himself to being killed for it. He is a ghoul, whether a tyrant or a martyr.
