Spring snow

Spring Snow is an integrated and standalone novel, but at the same time, it is strongly connected to its three sister novels: The Running Geese, Temple of Dawn, and Falling Angels, forming together Mishima's rare masterpiece, in all world literature: the Fertile Sea Quartet. Spring Snow was published in a translation by Kamel Yousif Hussein by Dar Al-Adab as part of a distinguished collection of translated novels that includes a number of classics of world literature, among them the Yukio Mishima Quartet. About the book Spring Snow The hero of Spring Snow, the young man "Kiewaki," a descendant of the noble Japanese Maxogai family, lives a unforgettable love story, and his friend "Honda" witnesses his unique and charming love story. In each volume that follows, we find that the hero is nothing more than the first hero but after his transmigration through reincarnation, to begin a new cycle of existence, and only "Honda" knows the bond that connects the four heroes, through two specific elements: three moles carried by all the heroes, and a set of wondrous dreams... Mishima was certain that his quartet is the point of reaching everything he learned as a writer. He pointed out to his friends that when he finished writing it, he would have only one thing left: "suicide" — and that indeed happened.
