The hopscotch

Julio Cortazar sees in the game of hopscotch a huge metaphorical expression of what he searches for. It is the search for the absolute and for the center. There in hopscotch, there are two elements: the first circle is the ground, and the goal is the sky; a game whose rules children possess that do not depend on absolute logical measurement, but it is also the state of preparation that the child is in without knowing, and adults should not forget that state if they want to understand the surrounding reality; not only relying on logical measurement but by maintaining that heritage.
