Metarol 5% GR 250 grams - Molluscicide and Slugicide 25 SAR Metarol 5% GR is a special type of insecticide designed to control snails (bright triton) belonging to the GASTEROPODA family. It comes in a ready-to-use bait form and contains attractant substances that are natural to them, and it does not significantly affect when exposed to rainwater. The Metarol 5% GR molluscicide is used around crops in fields, gardens, greenhouses, and plastic houses, such as vegetables, fruits, citrus, grapes, strawberries, grains, and other crops and ornamental plants. The granules remain non-moldy due to moisture, thanks to preservatives. They also do not easily transfer through the wind. The pesticide kills insects by contact or ingestion. Usage rate: The Metaldehyde granules can be sprinkled manually or using fertilizer spreaders. It is used at a rate of 2 grams per square meter, i.e., 120 granules per square meter when the infestation is 100 snails per meter, for small areas. The granules are spread on the ground around the plant. To protect rare plants, double the normal rate and distribute the granules around flowers, vegetables, in plastic-covered houses, under tables, in glass houses, and on green lands. It can be applied with spreading tools over large areas, lines, or even small piles. It is recommended to spread the material in the evening on the soil surface; the soil should be moist (after watering or rain).
