Stress is a new pandemic creeping over humanity

The Editor-in-Chief's Word Many people think that the more professional responsibilities an individual has, the greater their psychological pressures. There is some truth to this belief, but stress or pressure (Stress) is not necessarily linked to the size of responsibilities, but rather to our ability to control their outcomes. Scientific studies have proven that those in lower ranks at work suffer from stress symptoms more than those in higher ranks; because their decision-making influence is much narrower. Therefore, it is important for individuals to understand the limits of their control over matters, and to understand the limits of others around them as well. Life naturally exposes us to many tough circumstances beyond our control and strength; all we can do is coexist with them and try to reduce the stress they cause us to the lowest possible level. What is within our control, however, is like a treasure in our hands that we often do not truly appreciate. This circle, no matter how narrow, is full of opportunities and potentials that can change the course of our lives, such as hobbies, personal projects, even the clothes we wear, and our personal space at home. Effective use of everything within this circle can create a different reality for us; sometimes, this parallel reality gradually grows to shape our lives more significantly... and with it, our circle of control expands while our circles of stress and tension shrink. But, is there an ultimate escape from stress? Sometimes it is difficult for us to control stress factors, but we can manage their severity if we change some of our habits and behavioral patterns.
