In (the last straw) in front of Greg Heffley a single chance to escape from a decision made by his father on the eve of the summer vacation!! Frank Heffley (the father) thought he could make his son stronger and braver, and therefore he wanted to enroll (Greg) in organized sports programs. And other activities that require "bravery". Of course, Greg can easily avoid his father's efforts to change him. But, when his father threatens to send him to a military academy, Greg realizes that he should improve his behavior and develop his conduct... Otherwise, he will be sent away.
