There is no infallibility for the lover except if there are two faiths, the stronger of which is faith in the lawful and unlawful; and between two fears, the greatest of which is the fear of God; and between two desires, the greatest of which is the desire for elevation. If none of this or that exists, you will rarely find love except it is in the boldness of two disbeliefs, and the foolishness of two madnesses, and the degradation of two basenesses; and with this, there is nothing in a person except less than what is in two animals.
