Here is the translation: In front of the dear reader, a wonderful documentary study is presented that addresses an important aspect of the social and economic history of the region, specifically regarding (the currencies circulated in Qatif and Al-Ahsa - from the tenth century to the Saudi era). The main reliance in this study was on documents, which are among the most important and accurate sources of research. The author and researcher, Mr. Nizar bin Hassan Al-Abd Al-Jabbar, exerted great effort in searching for these documents, following up on them, and deducing information and implications from them. He reviewed hundreds of documents including wills, endowments, sales, donations, and reconciliations. The study includes images of some of these documents. These documents were not collected in one place or held by a specific entity for easy access and review; rather, they are in the possession of different individuals across various areas. Therefore, searching for and reviewing them required strenuous effort, which the generous researcher undertook as a service to knowledge and history, and as a loyalty to society and the nation. This wonderful study, thanks to Allah, fills a gap in its field and constitutes a qualitative addition to the historical research of the region. It reflects the breadth of the author's knowledge, his accumulated experience, and his promising research ability.
