I wish to tell you a story, perhaps it is somewhat traditional. It is not a new story of its kind, but perhaps it is as old as humanity itself, even though many storytellers have narrated it, in various languages of the world, because it concerns all races; it does not discriminate between white and black, Muslim and Jew, East and West. And perhaps this is what makes it a story always desired, and it has enjoyed great popularity throughout the ages… It is a love story, or perhaps a desire story, or something of that sort. In fact, often, the two are confused, to the point that, in my opinion, trying to distinguish between them is pointless. But anyway, I will leave the judgment to you, so you can decide for yourselves, without any interference from me (if that is possible). Rather, I will do something I have never done before, and I do not know if anyone before me has done it — I will leave it entirely to the owners of the matter to tell you, in their own way, the events of the story as they happened, without omission or reduction, without embellishment or concealment; and this naturally means, and I am sorry to say, that you may read what you dislike, contrary to the usual for this kind of stories, so my apologies in advance… And to all the dreamers, both male and female, who quench their thirst for emotion with love stories, romantic tales, and dubbed Turkish series, I say to you sincerely: do not continue reading, and save yourselves from this miserable book; what will be narrated to you shortly may cause you great disappointment!
