Product description
Islamic Kalam knowledge has attracted multiple currents throughout history, and among the most prominent is the rationalist current that called for a rational understanding of religious propositions that conforms to the logic of human rational understanding, and does not transcend human awareness. This current continued until the present era, in which thinkers in the Arab and Islamic world rose to address religious issues with an unprejudiced mind that attempts to understand the key aspects of Kalam issues within new rational systems. This book attempts to monitor the progress of the rationalist movement in Islamic Kalam knowledge, as well as to follow the Islamic rationalist movement in issues of Kalam, and presents samples of doctrinal topics that were addressed in a rational manner, alongside monitoring some works of Islamic thinkers in this field. It also seriously observes and compares the movement of doctrinal awareness among the currents of modernization, narration, Salafism, rationalism, philosophy, and human consciousness.
