• Blemil Plus Preterm is a highly digestible and nutritious milk formula specially formulated to meet the growing needs of premature and low birth weight infants, suitable for their maturity to reach maximum milk tolerance and nutritional gains
• Furthermore, it is fortified with nutrients that are essential for premature or low birth weight infants, such as long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6 (docosahexaenoic acid and arachidonic acid), nucleotides and zinc, which contribute to the growth and development of the infant's digestive and immune system
• Blemil Plus Preterm contains:
• Calorie density higher than that of infant milk and follow-up milk (81 kcal/100 ml)
• Proteins: It contains a high concentration of proteins and a balanced ratio of serum proteins/casein (65/35) and is suitable for the maturity of preterm infants
• It also contains nucleotides, which are associated with the speed of weight gain in premature and underweight newborns as well as their role in the maturation of the digestive system and the immune response system
• Taurine and L-carnitine have been added, which play a key role in the metabolism of fatty acids and in the production of energy from them, and are of great importance in the development of the central nervous system and the retinal system.
• Carbohydrates: Combines lactose and maltodextrin in equal amounts, reducing the osmolarity of the formula and ensuring good digestion and absorption of carbohydrates, which are a source of energy needed for growth, bone development and brain function
