Agenda 25 EC insecticide designed to combat termites in the form of a broad-spectrum liquid containing the active ingredient fipronil 2.5% to fight termites with a distinctive chemical composition characterized by a mode of action that features a follow-up killing property for the rest of the colony. It kills termites upon ingestion or contact, working by disrupting the normal function of the central nervous system in insects. Agenda 25 EC begins to kill termites within 24 to 36 hours. The active ingredient fipronil acts on the GABA receptor in the insect's central nervous system, closing the chloride ion channel, leading to nervous disruption and insect death. The disruption of GABA's role in nerve regulation distinguishes Agenda from other pesticides used in termite control. Fipronil kills insects through contact and ingestion; insects that feed on or contact the pesticide do not die immediately but transfer the contaminated food or pesticide to other colony members, known as the domino or successive extermination property. Agenda 25 EC is long-lasting, remaining effective for up to 90 days, so there is no need to repeat the spraying. It adheres to food (cellulose material found inside wood and reinforced cardboard) that is edible and is transferred by termites to other colony members, sharing it with colleagues to kill the colony upon consumption. Agenda 25 EC is considered one of the most toxic pesticides for termites because it binds only to the insect's nerve endings. Agenda 25 EC is a non-repellent termite pesticide, providing the longest structural protection for the building. It is easily transferred among termites through direct contact. It offers long-term protection of at least 5 years against termites and can also be mixed with kerosene. Agenda pesticide is safe to use in the presence of pets. Post-construction concentration: 15 ml per 1 liter of water. Pre-construction treatment: Prepare a solution with 1 liter of Agenda for every 200 to 250 liters of water, then spray the soil where construction will occur at a rate of 5 liters per square meter. Treatment of infested areas with termites: For floors: Using a drilling machine, holes can be made at a depth of 10 cm with a diameter of 0.05-1 cm directly into the floors, with a spacing of 40-50 cm between each hole. Prepare a solution of 1 liter Agenda per 200-250 liters of water and inject 2 liters into each hole. For walls: If there is severe infestation, it is preferable to treat the walls by making holes at a height of 1.5 meters, spaced 40-50 cm apart. Inject 2 liters of solution (containing 1 liter Agenda per 200-250 liters of water) into each hole. The pesticide remains effective in eliminating and preventing termites for no less than 5 years.
