Description of the electric meter ownership transfer service It is an electronic service that allows customers to request a change of the owner's name or transfer ownership of the electricity meter through the Saudi Electricity Company, but on the condition of having some basic requirements necessary for transferring ownership of an electric meter. Requirements for applying for the electric meter ownership transfer service A scanned copy of the national ID card for each individual benefiting from the electrical service, in addition to the applicant for the transfer of ownership of the electric meter. A copy of the sales or rental contract of the person to whom the ownership of the meter will be transferred. The electricity bill linked to the contract that will be waived or transferred to verify the accuracy of the information related to the electrical service. A formal declaration proving the waiver of ownership of the meter from the original owner in favor of the new owner, to facilitate the transfer process and update the records and official documents of the electrical service.
