Green Oil is a highly pure paraffinic mineral oil, used as an insecticidal and acaricidal contact pesticide (smothering insects) against soft scales, mealybugs, and spiders. It is available in two types (winter for fruit and summer for citrus and palms) with a concentration of 90-93%, suitable for gardens and farms. The most important features and uses of Green Oil: Working mechanism: forms an oily layer that covers the insect's body and closes its respiratory openings, leading to suffocation and the elimination of eggs, larvae, and adult insects. Type of pesticide: paraffinic mineral oil (mostly organic) that works by contact, non-systemic. Targeted crops: fruit trees (apple, pear, walnut, peach, apricot), citrus, palms, olives, and ornamental plants. Target pests: soft scales, spiders, cottony mealybugs, and scale insects. Additional features: considered an excellent winter spray oil (Green Oil W) or summer (Green Oil S), and also reduces the likelihood of plant toxicity. Method of use: mixed with water and sprayed to ensure full coverage of the foliage and branches.
