Instructions for Use * Place a drum of lancets inside the lancing device. * After setting the lancing depth (from 1 for the thinnest skin, to 5 for the thickest), press the end of the device against one of your fingertips and push the yellow button. This will release a drop of blood – enough for the test strip inside the reader to measure your blood-sugar level. – To change lancet, simply turn the front of the FastClix device downwards in the direction of the arrow. The number of lancets remaining is displayed on the device. – When a number "1" is displayed, the drum is down to its last lancet. – If the drum is empty, you should see a red ring on the top. Open the top of the device to dispose of the drum. There is no risk of contamination or accidental finger-pricking. Insert a new drum into the device. Hints and Tips – For peace of mind, insert a new lancet just before use – that way, you can be certain that your equipment is hygienic. – For convenience, draw blood samples from the ring finger or little finger – these digits are generally used less often (especially for gripping objects). – For comfort, draw samples from the side of the finger, since this part is less sensitive.
