Product description
The Grandstream GRP2612G is a 4-line desk IP phone with 4 SIP accounts and dual Gigabit ports, so the PC behind it keeps its full 1000 Mbps link. A power adapter is included, and it fits IT teams and admin offices running a Gigabit network.
====
The Grandstream GRP2612G is the Gigabit member of the GRP2612 family in the GRP2600 Carrier-Grade series: 4 line keys, 4 SIP accounts and two 10/100/1000 Mbps ports. Pick it when the desk PC plugs into the phone and you do not want that PC capped at 100 Mbps. It suits IT, finance and design teams that move large files across the network every day.
Grandstream GRP2612G at a glance
- 4 dual-color line keys and 4 SIP accounts.
- Up to 16 digital BLF keys and 16 virtual multi-purpose keys (VPK).
- 2.4-inch 320×240 TFT color screen.
- Two Gigabit ports.
- 5V/0.6A power adapter in the box.
Why Gigabit ports matter on a phone
Most offices run a single network cable to each desk. It goes into the phone, and a short patch lead goes from the phone to the PC. With 10/100 ports on the phone, the PC is stuck at 100 Mbps no matter how fast the switch is. The GRP2612G passes the full Gigabit link through, so you keep one switch port per desk without slowing anyone down.
Power adapter in the box
The 5V/0.6A adapter is already in the box, so there is nothing extra to buy. Maximum draw on the adapter is 3 W.
Keys that save time
The color screen shows caller names and line status at a glance. With 16 BLF keys you can see which colleagues are on a call and transfer to the free one in a single press. There are 4 softkeys and 9 dedicated function keys for everyday tasks, an RJ9 headset jack with EHS for Plantronics headsets, and a phonebook of up to 1,000 contacts.
Central management and security
Provision phones in bulk through the GDMS cloud platform, TR-069 or 256-bit AES-encrypted XML files. The phone boots with secure boot and dual firmware images, encrypts calls with SRTP and TLS, and supports 802.1X for corporate networks. Arabic is available among the menu languages.
Where it fits in Saudi Arabia
- IT and finance departments on a Gigabit LAN.
- Engineering and design offices handling large files.
- Admin offices in hospitals and universities.
- New branches in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam built on Gigabit switches.
PBX compatibility
Standard SIP means it registers to Grandstream UCM systems, where Zero Config provisions it automatically, as well as Yeastar and any other SIP PBX. Grandstream also publishes an official guide for using GRP261x phones with 3CX.
GRP2612G vs GRP2612P vs GRP2613
The GRP2612P has the same keys and screen, but 10/100 ports and no adapter in the box, which is fine when the PC connects straight to the switch. If you need 6 line keys, a 2.8-inch screen and 24 BLF keys on Gigabit ports, step up to the GRP2613.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the GRP2612G include a power adapter?
Yes. A 5V/0.6A adapter with 100–240 V input is in the box.
How is the GRP2612G different from the GRP2612P?
Same keys, screen and SIP accounts. The G has Gigabit ports and an adapter; the P has 10/100 ports and no adapter.
