Uniview Unicorn VMS Server for 2000 Channels with Video Wall Decoding
398.11ر.س
Product description
The Uniview Unicorn is a 3U all-in-one VMS server that records and manages up to 2,000 channels or 1,000 devices and drives a video wall directly. Its 16 drive bays expand to 48 disks, making it a fit for control rooms in malls, airports, factories and large compounds.
====
The Uniview Unicorn is one VMS server that does three jobs in a control room: it records the cameras, manages them and puts them on the video wall. It handles up to 2,000 channels or 1,000 devices and holds 16 hot-swappable drives. That makes it a natural step for projects that have outgrown NVRs and need a central system for one large site or several.
Unicorn capacity
- 1,000 devices or 2,000 channels per server, with 1,000 devices via ONVIF.
- 1,000 user accounts and 300 users online at the same time.
- 100 face or vehicle images and 100 alarms processed per second.
- 512 Mbps input and 384 Mbps output.
Storage that scales to 672TB
The chassis takes 16 3.5-inch drives of up to 14TB each, with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 so a failed disk does not cost you footage. It records 256 channels at 512 Mbps. When retention or camera count grows, add a DEU1008 (8 bays) or DEU1016 (16 bays) enclosure, up to two of them, for a total of 48 disks and 672TB. If management decides to keep footage longer, capacity grows without replacing the server or reconfiguring cameras.
Video wall output built in
Two HDMI outputs (4K capable) and one VGA output decode 16 channels of 1080P across 3 screens with no extra decoder. Base decoding is 4 × 4K, 16 × 1080P, 36 × 720P or 64 × D1, with layouts up to 64 windows and up to 3 auxiliary monitors. Fit two HDMI4-C or HDMI6-C decoding cards and the server drives 112 channels of 1080P on 15 screens. Network keyboards and decoders are managed from the same system.
Compatibility and unified management
Unicorn accepts third-party IP cameras over ONVIF and RTSP and manages NVRs, decoders, alarm panels, access control and cloud devices. Operators connect through a browser, the client software or the iOS and Android apps, with live view, playback, sequences, GIS maps, two-way audio and alarm plans. It also takes up to 30 third-party alarm or access devices, and playback runs up to 24 channels across clients or 16 synchronized channels for one client.
Typical Saudi projects
- Malls and retail centers: hundreds of cameras and a video wall in the security room.
- Factories and large warehouses: long retention using disk enclosures.
- Residential cities and compounds: gate, parking and corridor cameras in one system.
- Multi-branch organizations: existing branch NVRs managed from one center.
Reliability and security
It runs on Linux with dual BIOS and dual redundant power supplies, and supports two-server hot standby. Security features include HTTPS, 802.1x, ARP protection, IP filtering and load balancing, and a dashboard shows server, channel, disk and user status.
Unicorn or UG-I500-H16-IN?
Both manage 2,000 channels with 16 drives. Unicorn is the stronger video wall machine (up to 15 screens with cards), ships with dual power supplies and takes drives up to 14TB. The UG-I500-H16-IN adds access control, intercom, visitors and attendance as core modules, with 32 GB of memory and drives up to 20TB.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many cameras does the Unicorn manage?
Up to 2,000 channels or 1,000 devices per server, including 1,000 via ONVIF.
Does Unicorn work with other camera brands?
Yes. It accepts IP cameras that support ONVIF and RTSP alongside Uniview devices.
Do I need a separate decoder for the video wall?
Not for a small wall: it decodes 16 × 1080P across 3 screens, and two optional decoding cards take it to 15 screens.
