Product description
The Grandstream GCC6011 combines a VPN router, firewall and IP PBX with a 10-port Gigabit switch, including three dedicated WAN ports and four PoE outputs. It is aimed at mid-sized offices with a server rack and plenty of wired devices.
====
The Grandstream GCC6011 is for offices that have outgrown a small desktop router. It brings ten Gigabit ports, three dedicated WAN ports and four PoE outputs, together with a next-generation firewall and an IP PBX, inside one metal chassis. A rack-mount kit ships in the box, so it sits neatly next to your switches in a 19-inch rack. Mid-sized companies, private schools and warehouses get networking, security and phones under one management screen.
Grandstream GCC6011 ports and performance
Figures from the official GCC6010 Series datasheet:
- 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 3 of them dedicated WAN.
- 2x 2.5G SFP ports for fiber modules.
- 4 PoE ports (802.3af/at) with a 36 W budget.
- 2.5 Gbps routing and up to 1 Gbps IPsec VPN.
- Up to 160,000 NAT sessions on a 2.0 GHz quad-core CPU with 2 GB RAM.
Three WAN links for steady uptime
The three WAN ports are fixed from the factory. Connect an STC fiber line, a Mobily backup and a Zain connection, and the GCC6011 balances traffic across them or fails over when one goes down. That matters for a warehouse running cloud inventory software or a school streaming lessons.
PBX and PoE switch built in
The integrated PBX starts at 24 users and 8 concurrent calls, with extra capacity available as a separate upgrade. It handles IVR, transfer, call park, intercom and paging, and audio and video conferencing. The four PoE ports can power reception phones or ceiling access points directly.
The unit also has an optional M.2 SSD slot.
Security and central management
The firewall combines anti-virus, IDS/IPS, deep packet inspection and SSL inspection with web and application filtering and DoS protection. Grandstream says some of these features may depend on a subscription. IPsec, OpenVPN, WireGuard, L2TP and PPTP cover branch links and remote workers.
Day-to-day management runs through the free GDMS cloud, the mobile app, the web UI or SNMP, and the unit can control up to 150 GWN access points.
Good fits in Saudi Arabia
- A mid-sized company in Riyadh or Al Khobar with a rack and dozens of wired endpoints.
- A private school that needs two internet lines, admin phones and GWN Wi-Fi coverage.
- A warehouse or factory that needs a secure tunnel back to head office.
GCC6011 or GCC6010?
They share the CPU, memory, routing and VPN speeds, PBX capacity, SFP ports and PoE ports. The GCC6011 adds five more Gigabit ports (ten in total), three fixed WAN ports, an optional M.2 SSD slot and a rack kit, in a 280 x 180 x 44 mm chassis. The GCC6010 is smaller at 191 x 101 x 29 mm with five fully configurable ports, a better match for a small office.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the GCC6011 go in a rack?
Yes. A 19-inch rack-mount kit is included, and it can also be wall-mounted with L-brackets or placed on a desk.
What is the difference from the GCC6010?
The GCC6011 has ten Gigabit ports, three fixed WAN, an M.2 SSD slot and a rack kit. Performance and PBX capacity are the same.
