Product description

The Grandstream DP750 is a DECT VoIP base station that connects to your PBX over Ethernet and runs up to 5 DP-series cordless handsets, with 10 SIP accounts and 5 simultaneous calls. It fits small offices, showrooms and villas where people need a phone that moves with them.

====

The Grandstream DP750 is the box that links cordless handsets to your company PBX: one network cable in, up to 5 DP-series handsets out. It handles 10 SIP accounts and 5 calls at once, with a range of up to 300 m in open areas and 50 m inside a building. Small offices, showrooms and villas get the most from it, because staff can answer the phone while walking between rooms instead of running back to a desk.

Grandstream DP750 at a glance

  • Up to 5 DECT handsets on one base.
  • Up to 10 SIP accounts and up to 10 lines per handset.
  • 5 concurrent calls and 3-way conferencing.
  • One 10/100 Mbps port with 802.3af PoE.
  • Up to 300 m outdoor and 50 m indoor range.

One cable to install

Plug the base into a PoE switch and a single cable carries both power and data, so you can place it high up in the middle of the office or on the ceiling, away from wall sockets. No PoE switch? The box includes a 5 V / 1 A Micro-USB power adapter and an Ethernet cable. Five front LEDs for power, network, registration, call and DECT tell you the system status at a glance.

Accounts and handsets, mapped your way

Any handset can use any account, and any account can ring on several handsets. A practical setup: the reception number rings on every handset, while the manager keeps a private number on his handset only. Ring group modes include circular, linear and parallel.

HD voice and secure calls

The base supports wideband audio with G.722 and OPUS, encrypts calls with SRTP and signalling with TLS, and adds DECT authentication and encryption between base and handsets. It stores a phonebook of up to 3000 contacts in XML or LDAP format and a call log of up to 750 entries. Menus are available in 19 languages, Arabic included, which helps staff get comfortable fast.

Where the DP750 fits in Saudi Arabia

  • A small office or branch with 3 to 5 people moving between rooms.
  • A showroom or shop where sales staff answer from the floor or the back store.
  • A villa or istiraha, with a handset on each floor or in the annex.
  • A small clinic where the receptionist walks between exam rooms.

PBX and handset compatibility

The base pairs with Grandstream DP720, DP722, DP725, DP730 and DP735 handsets. It registers to any SIP PBX, Yeastar included, and on a Grandstream UCM it provisions itself through Zero Config. IT teams can manage it remotely in GDMS or push settings in bulk over TR-069 and encrypted XML files. Need more coverage? Add a DP760 repeater, which links to the base automatically.

DP750 vs DP752 vs DP755

The DP752 matches the DP750 on capacity, with 5 handsets, 10 accounts and 5 calls, but reaches up to 400 m outdoors with DP725, DP730 and DP735 handsets and comes in a taller 140 mm body. The DP755 doubles capacity to 10 handsets, 20 accounts and 8 concurrent calls, which suits larger companies and hotels.
