Uniview IPC6424SR-X25-VF 4MP PTZ Dome Camera with 25x Zoom

The Uniview IPC6424SR-X25-VF is a 4MP (2688 × 1520) speed dome with a 4.8 to 120 mm 25x zoom lens, auto tracking and 100 m IR. It suits sites that need finer detail on faces and vehicles when zoomed in.

====

The Uniview IPC6424SR-X25-VF belongs to Uniview's 25x LightHunter family. It pairs a 4MP sensor (2688 × 1520) with a 4.8 to 120 mm autofocus lens and auto tracking. When the lens closes in on a face or a vehicle far across the site, those extra pixels are what make the recording useful in an incident review.

Uniview IPC6424SR-X25-VF core specs

• 1/2.8" CMOS with a 4MP main stream at 30 fps, plus a 1080P sub stream and a D1 third stream.
• 25x optical zoom with autofocus; horizontal view from 52.20° to 2.74°.
• F1.5 to F3.8 iris and color imaging at 0.003 lux.
• 360° endless pan, with preset moves at up to 240°/s.
• IP67 and IK10 rated housing.

Auto tracking that frees up the operator

Turn tracking on and the camera locks onto a moving person or vehicle, steering and zooming by itself while the guard keeps an eye on other screens. Smart intrusion prevention (line crossing, intrusion, area entry and exit) with false alarm filtering means alerts come from real events. People flow counting and crowd density monitoring are included too.

What 4MP adds at distance

DORI figures put identification at 11.9 m on the wide end and 247.5 m at 120 mm, with detection out to 2475 m.

Night and weather performance

Smart IR reaches 100 m at 850 nm, WDR is rated at 120 dB, and 2D/3D noise reduction keeps low-light footage clean. The camera operates from -40°C to 70°C and has 6 kV surge protection. Smart IR scales the infrared output with the zoom, so a nearby face is not washed out and a distant target does not fall into darkness.

Where it earns its place

• Gated compound entrances, zooming in on the driver at the barrier.
• Highway fuel stations and service workshops.
• Hospital grounds and car parks.
• Retail distribution centers that need detailed review of loading activity.

Installation and compatibility

Power comes from PoE+ (802.3at) or a 12 V 3 A adapter, with a 21 W maximum. Local recording goes to microSD up to 256 GB. ONVIF Profiles S, G and T are supported, and the camera is managed through EZStation or EZView. Optional accessories include wall, pole, corner and pendant brackets from the TR-WE45, TR-UP08 and TR-UC08 ranges. For long retention, pair it with a 4MP-capable Uniview NVR and size the drives around a 4MP Ultra 265 stream, which keeps file sizes down.
