====

The Uniview IPC2A14LP-ADF40KC-4G-E is a 4MP outdoor bullet camera that sends video over a mobile SIM instead of a network cable. It suits a farm gate, an istiraha yard or a KSA job site with no fiber line or router. Its 4 mm lens covers a 79° horizontal view, and it belongs to the ColorHunter line, with two night-time light sources: infrared up to 50 m and visible light up to 30 m.

Uniview IPC2A14LP-ADF40KC-4G-E key specs

• 1/3.0" 4MP CMOS sensor, 2560×1440 at up to 30 fps.
• Fixed 4.0 mm lens, F1.6, 79° horizontal and 85.1° diagonal field of view.
• 120 dB WDR for scenes with harsh sun and deep shade in the same frame.
• IP67 housing rated for -30°C to 60°C.
• MicroSD slot for up to 512 GB of local recording.

4G connectivity where cables can't reach

Insert a Nano-SIM and the camera connects straight to the cellular network. Supported bands are LTE-FDD 1/3/5/7/8/20/28, LTE-TDD 38/40/41 and WCDMA 1/5/8. Check which bands your carrier uses at the site, whether STC, Mobily or Zain. There is also one 10/100 Mbps RJ45 port if a cable becomes available later. Wi-Fi is not included.

Colour at night up to 30 m, IR up to 50 m

In total darkness, the visible light gives a full-colour picture out to 30 m, so you can tell a car's colour or what someone wore. Prefer a light that doesn't draw attention? Switch to 850 nm infrared, which reaches 50 m in black and white. IR control is auto or manual, and Smart IR is supported.

Two-way audio and smarter alerts

A built-in microphone and speaker let you hear what is happening at the gate and talk back through the mobile app. One audio input/output and one alarm input/output connect an external speaker or a sensor. Smart intrusion prevention covers line crossing, intrusion, area entry and area exit, with human, non-motor vehicle and vehicle classification to filter out false alarms.

Where it fits in Saudi Arabia

• Farms and rest houses outside fiber coverage: watch the yard and entrance over a data SIM.
• Contractor sites: cover materials and equipment, then move the camera to the next project.
• Off-grid spots: pair it with a solar setup sized for its 6.8 W maximum draw.

Power, recording and compatibility

The camera runs on 12V DC through a 5.5 mm barrel plug, so plan for a nearby power source or a 12V adapter. Footage goes to the microSD card, and ANR keeps recording locally when the link to the recorder drops. It works with ONVIF NVRs (Profile S, G and T), EZStation software and the mobile app. Compatible brackets include the TR-WM06-C-IN wall mount and TR-UP06-B-IN pole mount.

4 mm or 6 mm?

Only the lens differs between the two versions. The 4 mm model sees 79° wide and identifies a person at up to 6.3 m. The IPC2A14LP-ADF60KC-4G-E narrows the view to 49.6° but stretches identification to 9 m and detection to 90 m instead of 63 m. Pick 4 mm for wide, close yards and 6 mm for a distant gate or long fence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the IPC2A14LP-ADF40KC-4G-E need a wired internet line?

No. It connects over 4G with a Nano-SIM. A 10/100 Mbps RJ45 port is there if you prefer a cable.

What power does the camera need?

It runs on 12V DC with a 6.8 W maximum draw, so you need a power point or a 12V adapter.

Does it record in colour at night?

Yes, with the visible light on, up to 30 m. In IR mode it records in black and white up to 50 m.
