Product description
The Uniview OEU-202S-HMK2 is an outdoor IP video door station with two call buttons, so each button rings a different household inside the villa. It reads IC cards (10,000 capacity), runs on PoE from your network switch, and fits two-family villas or a villa with a guest annex.
====
The Uniview OEU-202S-HMK2 is an outdoor IP video door station built for a villa where two households share one gate. A visitor presses the button for the family they came to see, and only that family's indoor station rings. They see the caller, talk, and open the gate from the indoor monitor or the mobile app.
Uniview OEU-202S-HMK2 at a glance
Camera, audio and card reader sit in one metal housing measuring 96 × 176 × 33 mm and weighing 375 g. Key figures:
- 2 call buttons and up to 40 linked indoor stations.
- 106.9° horizontal and 56.9° vertical field of view, with digital WDR for bright gate entrances.
- Adaptive IR illumination for night-time video.
- Omnidirectional mic and built-in speaker with noise suppression and echo cancellation.
One gate, two households
Many Saudi villas house parents on the ground floor and a married son on the upper floor or in the annex. With a basic doorbell, every visitor rings both homes. With the HMK2, button one rings the ground-floor monitor and button two rings upstairs, so one family's guests never disturb the other. Because the unit supports up to 40 indoor stations, a household can also add monitors in the majlis or the kitchen.
Open by card, monitor or phone
The built-in IC card reader works at 13.56 MHz and stores up to 10,000 cards. Family members tap and walk in; drivers and housekeepers get cards you can cancel at any time. Two lock outputs handle electric strikes or magnetic locks, so one unit can drive the yard gate and the front door. Use a separate access control power supply for magnetic locks, because the unit's own power output is only 12V / 0.25A.
Built for an exposed gate
The metal body is rated IP65 against dust and water jets and IK08 against impact, and a tamper switch raises an alarm if someone tries to remove it. It operates from -40°C to +60°C, which covers a gate facing direct summer sun. IP65 protection depends on sealing the gap between the unit and the wall during installation.
Installation and compatibility
Power comes from an 802.3af PoE switch (6.48W draw) or a 12V DC adapter. The station talks to Uniview indoor monitors over Uniview's private protocol, and to the UNV-Link app for answering and opening the door remotely. RS485, Wiegand and 4 IO inputs allow links to access control and alarm equipment.
Where it fits
- Two-storey villas with two families and a shared entrance.
- Villas with a guest annex or driver's quarters.
- Istirahas with separate men's and family sections.
OEU-202S-HMK2 or OEU-202S-HMK4?
Both share the same camera, size, protection, interfaces and power draw. The HMK4 adds two more buttons, supports up to 80 indoor stations and weighs 680 g. Pick the HMK2 for two homes and the HMK4 for a villa split into three or four units.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Uniview OEU-202S-HMK2 need a power adapter?
Not with an IEEE 802.3af PoE switch, which supplies data and power over one cable. A 12V DC adapter also works.
How many cards can it store?
Up to 10,000 IC cards at 13.56 MHz, and any card can be deleted if it is lost.
Can I answer visitors from my phone?
Yes, through the UNV-Link app linked to a Wi-Fi connected indoor station: see, talk and open the door remotely.
