Uniview IPC2225SB-ADF28KM-I1 5MP Bullet Camera with 80 m IR

The Uniview IPC2225SB-ADF28KM-I1 is a 5MP outdoor bullet with a 2.8 mm lens, a 108.5° horizontal view and IR reaching 80 m. Its IK10 housing and two-way audio make it a fit for villa walls, rest-house gates and warehouse yards.

====

The Uniview IPC2225SB-ADF28KM-I1 is a 5MP outdoor bullet camera built for exposed spots where someone might try to knock it out of position. Its 2.8 mm lens covers 108.5° horizontally, the IR reaches 80 m, and the housing carries both IP67 weather sealing and an IK10 impact rating. Think rest-house gates, villa perimeter walls and open warehouse yards.

Uniview IPC2225SB-ADF28KM-I1 key specifications

Video is recorded at 2880 × 1620 and up to 30 fps, with a 720p second stream for quick viewing on a phone. Ultra 265 compression sits alongside H.265 and H.264, which keeps recordings smaller on the NVR hard drive.

• 1/2.7" CMOS sensor with a fixed F1.6 lens.
• Color image down to 0.003 lux, 0 lux with IR on.
• 120 dB WDR for doorways with strong backlight from the sun.
• 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, PoE (802.3af) or 12 V DC, 8 W maximum draw.

Night vision and DORI distances

The 850 nm IR covers up to 80 m, and Smart IR dims the output on close subjects so faces near the lens are not blown out. This lens is rated at 63 m to detect, 25.2 m to observe, 12.6 m to recognize and 6.3 m to identify a person. In practice you get usable facial detail at the door and motion detection deep into the yard.

Alerts that ignore cats and trees

Line crossing and intrusion detection work on zones you draw yourself, and each target is classified as a human or a vehicle. That filtering cuts the phone notifications caused by animals or branches moving in the wind. The camera also flags lens covering, repositioning and sudden loud sounds.

Two-way audio and on-board recording

A built-in microphone plus an audio output for an external speaker let you talk to a visitor or warn someone near the wall. One alarm input and one alarm output connect a door contact or siren. A microSD card of up to 512 GB keeps recording if the NVR link drops, and ANR fills the gap once the connection returns.

Typical uses in Saudi Arabia

• Villa walls and garage gates that need a wide view and a tough housing.
• Rest houses and farms, watching the entrance and courtyard at night.
• Loading yards at warehouses in Riyadh and Dammam.
• Entrances and basement parking of residential buildings.

Compatibility and viewing

The camera pairs with Uniview (UNV) NVRs and with any recorder that supports ONVIF Profiles S, G, T and M. Watch it in EZStation on a PC or the UNV-Link app on your phone, with up to 32 user accounts across three permission levels.

IPC2225SB-ADF28KM-I1 or IPC2228SB-ADF40KM-I1?

Both share the same 245 × 87 × 86 mm housing and 80 m IR. The IPC2228SB-ADF40KM-I1 moves up to 8MP with a 4 mm lens and an 84° horizontal view, doubles the identify distance from 6.3 m to 12.4 m, and adds a third stream and non-motor vehicle classification. Pick the IPC2225SB-ADF28KM-I1 when width of coverage and lighter recordings matter more than reach.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the IPC2225SB-ADF28KM-I1 record audio?

Yes. It has a built-in mic, supports two-way audio and has an audio output for an external speaker.

How far does it see at night?

The IR reaches 80 m. The identify distance is 6.3 m with the 2.8 mm lens.

Do I need a separate power adapter?

Not with an 802.3af PoE switch or PoE NVR. It also runs from a 12 V DC adapter.
