Product description
The Grandstream GHP610W is a slim white IP phone for guest rooms, with 2 lines, 2 SIP accounts and dual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi. It fits hotels and serviced apartments where running a network cable to every room is not practical.
====
The Grandstream GHP610W is the white, wireless member of the slim GHP610/GHP611 family. It carries 2 lines and 2 SIP accounts plus dual-band Wi-Fi, so you can put a phone in a guest room and connect it to the hotel's wireless network without pulling new cable. That matters when an older building is being converted into serviced apartments, or when suites are added where no data point was planned.
Grandstream GHP610W key specs
There is no screen. Every function sits on a clearly marked key that a guest understands at first glance. The official datasheet lists:
- 2 SIP accounts and 2 lines, with 3-way audio conferencing.
- 23 keys: 3 programmable, 12 dial-pad keys, 5 function keys and 3 volume keys.
- 10 speed dial keys with slide-in paper labels for service names.
- One 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port alongside the Wi-Fi radio.
- 211 × 53 × 44 mm with handset; 350 g (US) or 360 g (World).
Wi-Fi rooms with no cabling work
The GHP610W runs on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Out of the factory it looks for a default network; you set your own SSID and password in the web interface before handing phones out to rooms. Power comes from the 12V/0.5A adapter in the box. A power socket and decent Wi-Fi coverage are all a room needs.
Service keys and the message light
Program the three keys and the speed dials for reception, room service, housekeeping and the restaurant, then write each name on the label strip. The status LED flashes green slowly for a new voicemail and fast red for an incoming call, so a returning guest can see a message is waiting. Guests cannot reject an incoming call from the handset, which means wake-up calls always ring through.
Where it fits in Saudi Arabia
- Hotels in Makkah and Madinah renovating older floors without opening walls.
- Serviced and furnished apartments in Riyadh and Jeddah.
- Staff housing, student dorms and clinic patient rooms.
- Chalets and rest houses covered by a single Wi-Fi network.
Compatibility and central management
The phone registers to SIP-based PBXs. With a Grandstream UCM, dial *82# from the handset and the PBX pushes the configuration and sets the room number for you; you can also set it from the keypad with *766. Fleet management runs through the GDMS cloud platform for bulk provisioning, firmware updates and device monitoring. Configuration files use 256-bit AES encryption, the phone has secure boot, and the casing is antimicrobial, tested to ISO 22196:2011.
GHP610W, GHP611W or GHP620W?
The GHP610W and GHP611W differ only in color: white versus black, with identical specs. The GHP620W is a larger desk phone on a stand (210 × 132 × 89.8 mm) with 6 programmable keys instead of 3 and a USB Type-C port for charging a guest's phone. Pick the GHP610W when bedside space is tight or you want a light-colored phone on the wall.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the GHP610W need a network cable?
No. It connects over 2.4 or 5 GHz Wi-Fi and only needs a socket for the included adapter. The 10/100 Mbps port is still there if you prefer a wired link.
What is the difference between the GHP610W and GHP611W?
Color only. The GHP610W is white and the GHP611W is black; keys, Wi-Fi and size are the same.
Can it be wall mounted?
Yes. The base mounts on two screws spaced 100 mm apart. Screws and anchors are not included.
